Hello, I’m Karl Bedingfield, and I am a runner from Witcham, Cambs.

WHY SUB40?
Well, sub 40 is the elusive 10K time I have trained relentlessly for. Last year (2017), I even took on a coach who put me through hell to try and go sub 40. But even with hitting every training session split perfectly, on race day I failed to deliver.
So, Ironically, I thought SUB40 would be the perfect name for my blog.

MY CHALLENGE FOR 2018
On Saturday 13th October 2018, I will be challenging myself by taking part in Lakes In A Day. A 50 mile, 4000m ascent on foot from the very top of the Lake District at Caldbeck to the very bottom, at Cartmel, via the stunning Helvellyn Ridge and the western shoreline of Lake Windermere.

You can follow my journey via #LIAD.
